Watching Waves at Porth-Y-Post

A combination of a nice day out with Bev, a picnic with a gorgeous view, a scamper along the coastal paths with Toby, finished off with a watching the waves at sunset.

I was trying different shutter speeds to capture different water movements This one was about half a send as the tide was receding.

A very similar composition bit this time with a longer exposure of about 6 seconds. Weirdly there was some bubbles that remained stationary in the water that I hadn’t noticed until processing this image.

The above image was more about the seaweed in the foreground. I loved the translucent quality with the setting sun. Also lowering the tripod to minimise the mid-ground.
Below are some of the other shots from a lovely evening.

I love getting out and about into the beautiful country side, planning my journeys to see these locations at their best.
Doing photography combines my need to be creative and I feel a tremendous amount of satisfaction when all the combinations come together andI have captured the feeling of the moment and created a lovely image.
