Waiting for Clouds at Ynys Y Fydlyn

This was a trip out with Toby and my mate, Andy Green, who had never been to Ynys Y Fydlyn before. We were waiting for some high cloud to catch the sunset. We did get some lovely colour in the clouds eventually.
Ynys Y Fydlyn is a gorgeous location with sea stacks, sea arches, sea caves and lovely coastal paths that Toby had a whale of a time scampering along.

I was interested in the soft blue/green of the lichen, but the bonus was just lying down, sun on my face and my pooch, Toby, climbing all over me.

Finally, a few clouds decided to make an appearance that caught the colour of the setting sun. My partner Bev, keeps referring to this location as a Pirates Cove and half expects to sea a galleon sail out of one of the bays.

I love getting out and about into the beautiful country side, planning my journeys to see these locations at their best.
Doing photography combines my need to be creative and I feel a tremendous amount of satisfaction when all the combinations come together andI have captured the feeling of the moment and created a lovely image.
