Southstack Lighthouse from Northstack

South Stack Lighthouse from just above Northstack

The curse of landscape photography is clear blue skies. However, it did make for a lovely walk along the coastal path from Southstack towards Northstack. I had wanted to do this walk to try and find a less photographed view of Southstack. Thankfully the heather was all about to bloom and the broom bushes popped under the the clear blue sky.

Heather Leading to Southstack Lighthouse

On the way back from my little walk, it only seemed right to take the opportunity of another shot of the lighthouse. I was keen to include some of the purple heather and found this image.
Southstack Lighthouse is a lovely location that is always worth returning to, especially in different conditions.

I love getting out and about into the beautiful country side, planning my journeys to see these locations at their best.
Doing photography combines my need to be creative and I feel a tremendous amount of satisfaction when all the combinations come together andI have captured the feeling of the moment and created a lovely image.
