Porth Y Cychod. A little gem of a place.

I had not had to may holidays this year for one reason or another so I took this week off. I had not explored much of the Llyn Peninsula and in my search h for possible locations Porth Y Cychod came to my attention.

The main focus of this very little peninsula was this little Fishermans hut. With the topography of the little knoll that the hut sat on made for some lovely compositions.

I liked this composition because it looked back towards Snowdonia. Also some to the sea pinks were still out which I quite like to include.

On the headland of the bay there is a wall left of a little cottage. It must have been a lovely little place to live in its day in a fantastic location. Today the wall is left as a feature with a bench and stunning views along the rest of the Llyn peninsula.

Toby, my mate on most of my landscape photography explorations keeps checking on me to give his approval on what I am photographing.

I love getting out and about into the beautiful country side, planning my journeys to see these locations at their best.
Doing photography combines my need to be creative and I feel a tremendous amount of satisfaction when all the combinations come together andI have captured the feeling of the moment and created a lovely image.
