Feeling Soggy at Coed Felinryhd & Llennyrch Celtic Rainforest

Having spent number of days indoors at home over the Christmas period, I thought it was “wise” to try and get out with Toby and for a bit of fresh air.

The rest of the path was blocked by a bit of a landslide and a fallen tree, but I did pass this cascade waterfall and decided to get the tripod out. The wind was blowing a hooley and the rain felt like buckets of water were being thrown at us. I am grateful that my camera is weather sealed.

That drowned thing at the bottom right of this picture is Toby. That stare is basically a colourful expletive of how he feels. There may have been a clue in the name of the location “Coed Felinryhd & Llennyrch Celtic Rainforest” RAIN-forest as what we should have expected!
Despite his stare of death, Toby does enjoy getting wet and muddy like most pooches and he would get wet and muddy in the driest of deserts!

Again, it serves as a good recce for this location of which I have unfinished business.

I love getting out and about into the beautiful country side, planning my journeys to see these locations at their best.
Doing photography combines my need to be creative and I feel a tremendous amount of satisfaction when all the combinations come together andI have captured the feeling of the moment and created a lovely image.
