A Warm Sunny Day in December at Newborough Beach

I could not believe we had such wonderful weather for our trip the Newborough Beach on Anglesey. Maybe not ideal for Landscape Photography because of the clear skies and the calm seas.
But my friend, Andy Green, my pooch, Toby and I had a great day out.

However, as the sun got lower it presented an opportunity to capture some lovely silhouettes in golden light.

A compromised composition of this dead tree in the sand dunes. I had wanted to separate the tree from the sand dunes behind, but further to the right the Snowdonia Mountains disappeared completely into mist. Whilst not totally disappointed in this shot, it does mean I have unfinished business at Newborough Beach.

I love getting out and about into the beautiful country side, planning my journeys to see these locations at their best.
Doing photography combines my need to be creative and I feel a tremendous amount of satisfaction when all the combinations come together andI have captured the feeling of the moment and created a lovely image.
