Fire in the Sky at Llanberis Pass

A sudden turn of light at Llanberis Pass

There have been many occasion when travelling down the Llanberis Pass when I thought that the lone Hawthorn trees might make for an interesting image. Thankfully my friend, Andy, and I were fortunate with fantastic light that lit up the clouds.

The tree highlighted from the sun with the back drop of the cliffs and waterfall.

The light also bathed the hillside opposite from us.

Earlier the sky started showing signs of the colour to come.

I love getting out and about into the beautiful country side, planning my journeys to see these locations at their best.
Doing photography combines my need to be creative and I feel a tremendous amount of satisfaction when all the combinations come together andI have captured the feeling of the moment and created a lovely image.
